Soccer Senior Send-off
May. 6, 2014—As the year wound (winds? I refused to admit it's over.) down, most of the organizations I'm involved in on campus held various activities in order to "send off" the seniors. Now, part of me refused to acknowledge that this included ME (wow, gee wiz, golly wolly, etc.), but that went out the window the second I got the invite for the senior send-off for the club soccer team.

Marathon Summer: Unconventional Engineering
May. 2, 2014—*Guest blog by my roommate and fellow burger-enthusiast, Mary Kate Hardy Last semester I discovered one of the hidden gems of engineering in the form of a Biomedical Engineering elective course, titled Service Learning in Guatemala. The hands-on learning experience was incredible, and fine dining and zip lining with your professors was a blast too.

Fortunately for you guys, I’ve decided to channel this longing into something productive (if you told me that a week ago when I was holed up in a study carrel in Stevenson, I also would’ve laughed in your face), and have come up with the three things I miss about being at school:

Reminiscing About My ASBreak

“Meat” Ya in Centennial Park
Apr. 28, 2014—My favorite thing about today was that whenever someone asked me, "What have you been up to?", I got to respond with, "I went to a MEAT festival." They would stare at me blankly as if I'd said something so wrong. Or maybe just something SO RIGHT.
