Sep. 29, 2013—Having a job in college sounds like a drag, but it really doesn't have to be. This is the first semester I've had a job on campus, and let me tell ya, it is a piece of cake. I am working for Vanderbilt Technology Support Services (TSS for short) in various free computer labs located across campus, but the day-to-day operations of this "job" are sitting at a desk and doing my homework, occasionally giving creepy grins to the people walking into the lab.
Sep. 28, 2013—Vandy has been covered in parents this weekend because it's Parents Weekend! This is the first Parent's Weekend that my parents haven't come, so instead I get to be adopted by my friends' parents and meet their families. Sep. 26, 2013—Tonight, I attended opening night of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead performed by Vanderbilt University Theater. I try to go to as many plays as I can but I made a special effort to attend this one for two reasons. First, later in this semester, I will be reading the play in one of my classes. Second, two of the actors in the play are in that same class.
