NashTrash Murder Mystery Tour
Nov. 9, 2012—I know that I always talk about CityVU because it is one of my favorite student groups here on campus. Last night, CityVU rented out the NashTrash bus for a private Murder Mystery tour. Due to last minutes cancellations, my room mate and I got to go!
A Busy Few Weeks
Nov. 8, 2012—I’m so sorry for the short hiatus. It has just been a crazy few weeks. I can’t even begin to tell about all that has happened here since the last time I blogged. I guess then, I will just choose a few of my favorite things. 1. I only have one more test between now...
Symphonie Fantastique
Nov. 7, 2012—So what better for Blair kids to do on their Friday night than go to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center for a delightful evening of music? We boarded the bus downtown, and when we arrived, we saw around half of our school there. From the pianists to violists to vocalists to horn players, the Blair School of Music had invaded the Nashville Symphony. Yes, that is what we music majors do to kick off our weekends.
TIMAV: Meal Plan
Oct. 28, 2012—In continuing in my theme of talking about things I missed while studying abroad, it would be a mistake to forget about the food at Vandy! I know this is a popular topic amongst the Inside Dores bloggers, but food plays a huge role in college life. Be sure to pick a college with tasty...
“You look like the little boy from UP!”
Oct. 25, 2012—“You look like the little boy from UP!” This was the text I got from one of my dear friends as I was strolling around campus this afternoon. To preface this, I guess I should mention I had one small red ballon tethered to my backpack for the majority of the day (if only I...

Michael Hogan, from Pennsylvania State University came to talk to our class about rhetoric and the Progressive era. Adopted for Family Weekend
Oct. 17, 2012—Last weekend, I went home to spend fall break with my family. This weekend was Vanderbilt Family Weekend, and because I have three exams this week and I just saw my family, they decided to forego parents weekend this year. I do love when my parents visit me here at school, but this year it just wasn't going to work out. I hope that you aren't feeling sorry for me, though. This weekend I was adopted by my friends' families.
