Nov. 26, 2014—After going through recruitment at the beginning of my second semester at Vanderbilt, I became a sister of Kappa Kappa Gamma, but this post isn’t titled ‘Why I’m Thankful for Kappa’ for a reason. By the nature of Greek Life at Vanderbilt, Kappa wasn't the be-all and end-all of my experience, and for that I am truly thankful.
Feb. 18, 2013—As I walked through Rand last Wednesday, I made sure to grab multiple copies of The Hustler and The Slant, even though I’d already read both (and completed the crossword). I stocked up on scotch tape and bundled up for the cold as I waited for my Big to pick me up from Towers. It was time for Big/Little Reveal 2013!
Jan. 16, 2013—These past two weekends I spent at sororities for spring recruitment. I rushed as a sophomore, which is not common, but not unheard of. Coming into college, I didn't know that much about sororities, as none of my family was greek. After watching lots of my friends join sororities last year and have wonderful experiences, I decided that I wanted to rush as well!
Dec. 4, 2011—Last night was AOII’s third party of the semester, winter semiformal. Our venues are always a surprise because we meet at the house and ride together, so when the bus pulled up to the Country Music Hall of Fame, everyone was pretty excited. But I’m getting ahead of myself—
