Jul. 10, 2013—Has the dorm-shopping craze hit your town/stores/formerly-sane friends yet, first years? Well if it hasn't, it sure will soon, and as my mother always says, "the early bird gets the worm"— that is, until the worm is restocked by Bed Bath & Beyond. Then you not-so early birds can get one too. Anyways, here are a few of my essentials so you eager-beavers can get started shooting those scanning guns and pillaging your local home goods stores. Storage Wars
Apr. 30, 2013—There is a ton to do at the end of every year to move out! I feel like I never realize how much stuff I have until it's all packed in boxes and there is barely any space in my room...Last year my parents drove down to bring all my stuff home. Except after we could barely fit it all in our mini-van, my mom said next summer I would be flying home. As the end of the semester rolled around, my dad, sensing my high stress level from finals, decided to come down for the weekend to help me pack up. On top of being incredibly helpful, it was so nice to see him since I hadn't seen him since January!
Packing for Vanderbilt

Caitlyn’s Catch-Ups: Teeth Troubles
Dec. 20, 2012—Catch-Ups Part 6: wisdom teeth edition. Last Wednesday night, I packed up my things for home, and Thursday morning I set off for the airport to start my journey back to California! (With some trepidation, I might add, since my mom announced to me on Wednesday morning that I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled on Friday. Surprised doesn't even begin to describe how I felt.)

Sep. 10, 2012—After weeks of packing, dozens of trips to Target, and triple-checking the weight of my bags (one is 46 pounds while the other is 32…at least they’re under 50!), I’m finally flying to London!
