Mountain Weekend
Nov. 15, 2012—My past weekend was not spent at Vanderbilt, but instead was spent with my fraternity in Gatlinburg, TN. Gatilinburg is a small resort city situated in the smokey mountains, about 3 hours from Nashville (4 if you want to factor in the time zone). On Friday afternoon, I hopped in a car with one of...

Flag Football Championships
Nov. 14, 2012—My roommate, Sophie, played flag football in high school and this year decided to make an intramural flag football team. She needed extra girls, so I volunteered to join and it has been so much fun!
I’m Wide Awake
Nov. 12, 2012—This past weekend, I took a vacation. After a hectic week in which I had three midterms and a nine minute speech all within the span of five days, I needed some time off to regain my sanity. Nov. 10, 2012—One of the activities that I am involved in this year is CCRF, or Creative Campus Residential Fellows. This past week we went to an event as a group entitled Daniel Beaty: Transforming Pain into Power.

Nov. 9, 2012—I know that I always talk about CityVU because it is one of my favorite student groups here on campus. Last night, CityVU rented out the NashTrash bus for a private Murder Mystery tour. Due to last minutes cancellations, my room mate and I got to go!
There’s a job for everyone!
Nov. 9, 2012—This week has been crazy because of the workload that is always heaped upon students pre-Thanksgiving break. However, it’s also been busy for me because it is one of the few weeks I hold an actual job during the semester. As such, I wanted to talk a bit about the perks of working at Vanderbilt!
A Busy Few Weeks
Nov. 8, 2012—I’m so sorry for the short hiatus. It has just been a crazy few weeks. I can’t even begin to tell about all that has happened here since the last time I blogged. I guess then, I will just choose a few of my favorite things. 1. I only have one more test between now...
