What a Great Weekend

Sep. 2, 2012—This is my first official blog post as an Inside ‘Dore and I couldn’t be more excited! Aug. 21, 2012—As Victoria said, after tomorrow we’ll be done with more of our undergraduate career than we have left. I spent today enjoying my last day of freedom before classes begin and trying not to think too hard about how old I feel.
My Yearly Arm Workout
Aug. 21, 2012—Being a soccer player, I don’t do much in the way of arm-muscle-building. I often refer to my arms as “limp noodles.” I’ve come to think of move-in as my yearly arm workout, and this year, I got an extra dose of arm exercise.

Aug. 21, 2012—The first week back to school has to be one of my favorite times at Vanderbilt University. Why exactly? Because of the festivities, activities, and everything is FREE.

Aug. 21, 2012—The few days before school begins are always a little crazy–on Saturday I moved in a whole lot of first years (and was a firsthand witness to Ann’s great enthusiasm). The rest of the day was spent recovering and catching up with some friends and then trekking back to Commons for the Protestant worship service...

Aug. 21, 2012—This post comes to you from the common room of my apartment-style dorm back at Vandy! I moved in on Saturday, and in true Vanderbilt style, a plethora of things have happened since.

Aug. 20, 2012—Today, I partook in a first-year orientation panel themed “If I knew then what I know now…” Dr. Karen Campell, one of the Deans of Undergraduate Education invited several upperclassmen to give 1-2 suggestions to the first-years and then participate in a Q&A session.
