School’s Out!
Jan. 7, 2014—Can you believe it? Neither could we: Vanderbilt cancelled classes yesterday!
I went bowling!
Jan. 7, 2014—This past Saturday, my sister and I met up with some of my friends in Birmingham, AL to watch the Commodores take on the University of Houston Cougars at the BBVA Compass Bowl. I had never been to an away game before, although I guess this was technically considered a neutral field. It was the perfect ending to my last football game as a student.
Family Vacation to Arizona!
Dec. 31, 2013—After arriving home from AWB, I had about two days to settle in Alabama before I was en route to my next destination: Arizona.

Inside Inside ‘Dores
Dec. 23, 2013—Everyone has their own blogging style. Some write directly on WordPress, others write a draft on Microsoft Word and then copy-paste their final draft, and some do a combination of the two before they click "Publish." There was some major awesome that happened on the missions trip to St. Louis. Ashlin covered Part 1, so here's to Part 2!
Performing at the Ryman
Dec. 19, 2013—My friend E. had sent me an email asking me whether I was still in Nashville on December 11-12, and due to Finals, I replied with a yes. She then asked me whether I would be interested in playing a show. Of course! I can't believe that my first ever non-classical music performance was for Andrew Peterson's show "Behold the Lamb of God"!
Rocko’s Modern Life
Dec. 17, 2013—Now that I’m home for break, I decided that it is a prime opportunity to tell you about my family’s current guide dog-in-training, Rocko. The last time my family trained a guide dog through Guide Dogs of America, my sister and I were both in Nashville when they picked her up (AKA when she was...
ubuntu: a bittersweet homecoming
Dec. 16, 2013—Coming home to South Africa, in the wake of Madiba's passing
Airport Adventures: Nashville to Home
Dec. 15, 2013—The process of going home for winter break is not as simple as you might think (for me, at least). It generally involves at least three hours of staring at my room, willing my clothes to pack themselves, before putting things in a suitcase actually begins.
