Inside Inside ‘Dores

Posted by on Monday, December 23, 2013 in Admissions, College Life, Creative Writing, General Information.

Everyone has their own blogging style.  Some write directly on WordPress, others write a draft on Microsoft Word and then copy-paste their final draft, and some do a combination of the two before they click “Publish.”  I, for one, occasionally peek in on others’ saved drafts just to get a sneak preview of what the other blogger’s vibe might be.  And maybe sometimes, I may or may not leave a comment.

This is from Nathan's No-Nathan November.

And my fellow bloggers seem to have the same frame of mind.  If you click on the photos, you’ll (literally) get a better picture of what some of our pre-published posts look like.

An unfinished post from maybe a year ago. Will it ever be published? Who knows.

In fact, when I started this draft in early December, I casually aired it out and deliberately forgot about it, hoping someone would comment.  And they came through.  Winners, the lot of them.  I’ll just leave what they wrote in the next paragraph, and it’s not too hard to figure out who’s who, if you’re a regular reader of the Inside ‘Dores blogosphere:

ANN YOU KILL ME. -SO

I once accidentally clicked “save draft” on one of Nathan’s old drafts and alerted him to my creeping. AWKS. -CD

This is the best. Online creeping always encouraged.-VB

Friends will be friends.  Friends check up on each other (even virtually).  Friends give really good advice (even when unasked for).  Friends are funny (because of how ridiculous this situations is).  Bloggers are friends!

Look at how lovely all these bloggers are. And yes, I did go through all the profiles, drag them into a folder, and use Picasa to make a collage. All that work because Inside 'Dores is worth it. Cheers!

On that note, have a lovely winter holiday!  The countdown to Christmas continues!  Only two days more!
