Weekend 4: Exploring Nashville Some More!
Jul. 7, 2013—Today, I bring you a short synopsis of our 4th weekend of Nashville adventures, complete with a rhyming title, of course! Caitlyn and I continued our mission to do something new and inexpensive in Nashville, and weekend four did not disappoint.
Reunion Amidst Millions
Jun. 28, 2013—I closed out my May adventures by visiting some family in New York for a week. And along with family, I had a little reunion with a recent Vanderbilt alumnus as well!
#WordWednesday
Jun. 19, 2013—As Caitlyn mentioned in her post, we're trying to do something new, fun, and inexpensive in Nashville each weekend. Our first weekend brought us to a free movie at the Belcourt, and on Sunday we ventured downtown to brave the crowds to catch a free CMAFest concert by the river--we saw Lonestar and then wandered around downtown where the streets were shut down and there were tons of free giveaways and fun happenings.
The National Music Festival
Jun. 17, 2013—Two weeks flew by at the National Music Festival. This two-week program is located in quaint little Chestertown, where the locals live in beautiful old houses by the waterfront. Host families and Washington College generously housed the hundred students who all came with full tuition and housing scholarships from all over the United States and abroad.
Boston Strong
Jun. 17, 2013—The (I'm sure) much anticipated Part 2 of May adventures is finally here, and it consists of a week of Boston fun!
Back in the Nash

This is the first summer I’ve gone back to the city, and I’m so excited to share with you all what I’m doing while here! First off, as Caitlyn mentioned, we’re roomies...
Relaxation Station
May. 29, 2013—I've been home in sunny Naples, Florida for a little under a month now and I think I've officially recovered the sleep debt built up over last semester. Being home has been wonderfully relaxing but I've also reached the point where my mind is not quite comprehending why I've had so few things to do.
Country Music City
May. 24, 2013—My name is Priyanka Aribindi, and I am a recovering Nashville junkie. Twenty-four days away from the perpetual sunshine and barbeque-tinged air feels like much too much, but lucky for me, my home away from home and I will be reunited once again in no time at all. While in the grand scheme of life/time/eternity,...
Destination: Dallas!
May. 16, 2013—What is Dallas? It is the home to two of my favorite Vandy friends, Sam and Trevor, who made it their mission to uphold their Texas pride and show me their city's best. Well, they just about blew me away!
Guest Blog: Blair Salon Series
May. 1, 2013—At least once a month, Dean Wisclo, the Dean of the Commons who literally lives on the Commons, hosts "Dinner at the Dean's Residence." My friend Matt Lammers, a violinist, thought, why not bring Blair to the Commons? Here's his take on founding an initiative called the "Blair Salon Series":
