Vanderbilt Stays Alive in the CWS

Jun. 22, 2011—Tonight, the Commodores beat the Tarheels by a score of 5 to 1. In doing so, the Commodores eliminated UNC and advanced to take on the Florida Gators once again.

CWS Update

Jun. 21, 2011—About 17 hours after the first pitch, a weather delay and finally, an overnight suspension of play, our Vanderbilt Commodores lost to the Florida Gators, by a score of 3-1, falling to 1-1 in the College World Series.

Open Gym

May. 1, 2011—I am worn out. Not from finals though, but from tumbling for the last hour. My floor went to a gymnastics center about 15 minutes away for an “open gym,” which allowed us to pretty much do whatever we wanted on the equipment, as long as we were safe.
