Sep. 7, 2011—Last night, Rand was buzzing. In addition to Tortellini Tuesday at Rand, Vanderbilt Dining Managers were giving away free brookies and chocolate covered strawberries. All we had to was ask them a question!

Small Groups in BIG Classes
Aug. 30, 2011—Vanderbilt is a medium to small private research institution. We have an 8:1 student-to-faculty ratio, with over 3,000 full-time faculty members. 81% of classes have less than 30 students and 92% have less than 50 students. Like most schools, however, entry level science courses (the pre-med requirements) often have around 200 students. Don’t fret, though....

Aug. 16, 2011—Every year, the week before school begins, Vanderbilt alumni chapters around the country hold Summer Send-Off parties. These gatherings bring together current Vanderbilt students, alumni, family and friends in order to welcome new students to the University. The Send-Off gives these new students (and their families) their first taste of the amazing Vanderbilt community.
