May. 8, 2014—With the countdown to graduation down to only a handful of hours, the reality that two years at Vanderbilt have passed is astounding. As a junior transfer student, I have only been able to call Nashville home for four semesters, yet what has transpired within that time is nothing short of remarkable.
May. 6, 2014—Within a two week span, I was "sent off" by three organizations very near and dear to my heart: BCM, Cru, and Masala SACE. It so odd to know that it's actually my turn to be sent-off, but it was so encouraging and humbling to be recognized by these three amazing organizations!
Apr. 10, 2014—Vanderbilt Student Volunteers for Science is an organization that helps spread the love of science to elementary and middle school students in the larger Nashville community. While this initially looks like a philanthropic opportunity for science geeks, fear not! All you need to have is the willingness to serve younger students--the science stuff comes straight from the manual.
Apr. 1, 2014—Well, this past Friday the Undergraduate Admissions Office was shut down because that was the day all of the admissions counselors ceremoniously (kind of) sent out letters to accepted students! It just really got me to thinking about my Vandy decision. So rather than catch you people up on the past 3 months of my life, let's go back a couple of years to the time when the college game was exciting and relevant for me.
