My name is Ashli Alexander, and I’m from Newnan, GA, which is about an hour south of Atlanta. I am a freshman at Vanderbilt in the College of Arts and Sciences and loving every minute of my first year here!
I haven’t officially decided on a major yet, but I am on the pre-med track and debating between majoring in Psychology; Medicine, Health, and Society; and Mathematics.
On campus, I am in involved in Melanated A Capella, Voices of Praise Gospel Choir (VOP), Project Sunshine, and the Black Student Association (BSA). I have enjoyed attending multiple sporting events on campus and have loved attending the different performing arts events, too. Also, attending the freshmen events on Commons have also been a blast!
If you have any questions about living on Commons as a freshman or about the transition to Vanderbilt, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org!
