The Best Day Ever
Mar. 21, 2012—Today has quite possibly been the best day I’ve had in a while. Two things happened: one, I got to see an advance screening of The Hunger Games! And two, my family is here!
Girls on the Run
Mar. 16, 2012—This semester, I started volunteering for Girls on the Run. Girls on the Run is a national organization that teaches girls about self-esteem, positive relationships and healthy living.
Why Vanderbilt?
Mar. 11, 2012—With Spring Break last week, I got to go home and catch up with a bunch of my friends still in high school. Since most of them are second-semester seniors, I grilled them all about college. Hearing this whole process again reminded me why I chose to come to Vanderbilt in the first place,

Radnor Lake
Feb. 19, 2012—This weekend, the weather was a little dreary, but Saturday was pretty warm, so I decided to take a hike at nearby Radnor Lake.
Valentine’s Day!
Feb. 15, 2012—I was about to type that I’d had too much chocolate yesterday, but then I realized that’s not possible. Either way, I probably ate an unhealthy amount of chocolate because it was Valentine’s Day! Come on, all the sugar, chocolate, and baked goods are one of the best parts of the day.
Published? As an Undergraduate?
Feb. 6, 2012—There are many opportunities for Vanderbilt undergraduates in terms of being ‘published.’ Authoring or co-authoring an academic work can help enhance a graduate school or job application or even just be a cool random fact. At Vanderbilt, we have the opportunity to be published by simply completing the mandatory course work.
My Hopes for the Spring of 2012
Dec. 29, 2011—First, let me say that I am beyond pumped about this coming semester! Sitting at home, not so far from campus, I have some hopes for what I expect my semester to be like.
