A little bit of France, A little bit of Pictionary
Apr. 10, 2014—My French professor hosted a dinner at her house! Pictionary was played. Hilarity ensued.
Let the Nostalgic Posts Begin
Apr. 1, 2014—Well, this past Friday the Undergraduate Admissions Office was shut down because that was the day all of the admissions counselors ceremoniously (kind of) sent out letters to accepted students! It just really got me to thinking about my Vandy decision. So rather than catch you people up on the past 3 months of my life, let's go back a couple of years to the time when the college game was exciting and relevant for me.
Inside the Course: B&W Film Photography
Mar. 30, 2014—Welcome to the second installment of “Inside the Course” where I give you an in depth look at a Vanderbilt course I’m currently taking. Today’s course is one I highly recommend: Arts 120: Introduction to B&W Photography. In high school, I took AP 2D Design and focused my work around photography–it’s something I’ve always enjoyed....
Inside the Course: Advertising Studio
Mar. 22, 2014—You may remember my blog post earlier this semester about all of my courses. Hey, guess what’s great? Semester eight!
Jan. 19, 2014—It only took two weeks for me to remember I had a whole lot of blogging to do. And of course, I can't miss out on my very last classic semester preview post. Yes, that's right dear readers. I am already two weeks into my final semester of my undergraduate career. I am in a constant fight with panic and hyperventilation.
Books Galore!
Jan. 9, 2014—One of the biggest struggles at the beginning of each semester is getting all of your new textbooks. This process is expensive, time-consuming, and difficult, especially if you don't know exactly which classes you are going to keep. You definitely don't want to buy them too early or too late. Buying your textbooks is like saying your vows: "til death do us part, class, because I have spent $50 on this book for you"...
Finals Can Be Fun
Dec. 12, 2013—Last week, I presented my final project for my theatre class this semester. The Title? Moral, Musical, & Mythical: The Hunger Games as Melodrama.
Man-I’ve-Been-Bad-at-Pacing-These-This-Semester Monday, Part 2
Dec. 9, 2013—While I’m gearing up for finals this week (wish me luck!), I’ve also been gearing up for the holidays. The result is my newest masterpiece, “Twas the Week of Vandy Exams."
Oh My Finals Week!
Dec. 9, 2013—So here's a shocking and controversial statement: Finals Week is pretty cool!
