Enriching a Course
Sep. 12, 2012—Today, I was officially approved to enrich a course. Enriching a course is the College of Arts and Science is only available to College Scholars, a title that I was luckily enough to earn with my acceptance to Vanderbilt. We have the unique opportunity to graduate with honors in the College of Arts and Sciences, which is similar to graduating with honors in your major.
Pre-Med Professors
Jul. 23, 2012—One of my friends from high school has a little sister coming to Vandy next year so I’ve been sharing my vast wisdom (ha) about classes and professors, primarily pre-med related. Here are a few of my favorites for any curious incoming freshman:
London Calling
Jul. 14, 2012—In case you can’t tell, I’m a teeeeny bit excited about studying abroad in London next fall. Two of my friends are studying abroad in Edinburgh, one in St. Andrews, and another in Buenos Aires…so how did we decide where to study?
Physics Phun (Sorry, I had to do it)
May. 21, 2012—I’ve been meaning to blog for the last week or so, but I’ve been so busy that I kept forgetting. I know you’re wondering why I’m so busy, so let me tell you about my summer plans:

At Vanderbilt, we have the opportunity to be published by simply completing the mandatory course work.
New Semester Resolutions
Feb. 6, 2012—Each new semester in college is like a new year…sure you might be taking the second semester of a course (i.e. General Chemistry A vs. General Chemistry B), but it’s still a new class with a new teacher and a lot of new faces, give or take some familiar ones. It’s important to treat each...
Aix-en-Vacances
Jan. 28, 2012—For those of you who haven’t seen my other blogs, I am currently studying abroad in Southern France in a city called Aix-en-Provence. However, sometimes students like to joke around…even some of the host families tell us to remember that while our studies are important, it is also essential to recognize that we are on...
Spring Classes
Jan. 20, 2012—It’s weird to think I’ve only been back at Vandy for two weeks, because I already feel like I have my routine set—which is good considering I finalized my schedule only a week ago. So far, I’m pretty happy with my picks:
