My PreVU Story
May. 19, 2014—The college search process is not an easy one. Trust me, I know. A few years ago, I was in the same place that many readers may find themselves in now—approaching the end of junior year in high school, with a vague idea of where to apply, but no official campus tours to speak of....
First-Year Registration Tips
May. 17, 2014—Just some advice I wish I'd had a year ago as I freaked out over the decisions and process that was "first-year registration."
One down, three to go
Apr. 21, 2014—Today was my last day of class as a Vanderbilt first year student, and while I still have finals to get through, I can’t help but take a quick glimpse back at this year. I have enjoyed every minute of everyday even when it was hard, even when I stayed up late working on an...

Let the Nostalgic Posts Begin
Apr. 1, 2014—Well, this past Friday the Undergraduate Admissions Office was shut down because that was the day all of the admissions counselors ceremoniously (kind of) sent out letters to accepted students! So rather than catch you people up on the past 3 months of my life, let's go back a couple of years to the time when the college game was exciting and relevant for me.

Today’s course is one I highly recommend: Arts 120: Introduction to B&W Photography. In high school, I took AP 2D Design and focused my work around photography–it’s something I’ve always enjoyed....
Learning To Swim & Bad Metaphors
Mar. 12, 2014—My attempts at turning my college experience into a bad metaphor about learning to swim!
Guest Lecture at the Curb Center
Feb. 18, 2014—This year, the Communication Studies department moved to the Curb Center. I am not going to lie. When I first heard that my classes were neither going to be on main campus nor on commons, but rather in a totally separate location, I was pretty upset. I had no desire to walk almost a mile each way to and from class. I also feared that I would always be late for lunch plans. But, the new space is definitely worth it. In addition is new classrooms, the Communications office suite actually houses the entire department. There is also a great auditorium where the department can host speakers, which brings me to the point of this post.
