Running Your Problems Away
May. 3, 2012—Last Saturday (April 28th), I ran my first half-marathon! Nashville is home to the Rock n Roll Nashville Marathon (which benefits St. Jude’s) each spring, and a small group of ROTC cadets, myself included, volunteered to run on behalf of the department.

May. 2, 2012—Luckily for me, while abroad I have been able to continue with my (slightly-obsessive) hobby of rock-climbing while abroad. At Vanderbilt, I participate in both Wilderness Skills and the Outdoor Recreation Program, which allow me easy-access to all things outdoors…but here, it has been a bit more difficult.
The Joys of Finals Week
Apr. 27, 2012—Finals week. Insert dramatic sigh here. I am honestly quite sad to see that two whole years–HALF of my undergraduate career–is already over. Preparation for my finals is slowly but surely making itself more prominent in my schedule, but that does not deter me from enjoying what is left of life as a sophomore year!

Vanderbilt Spring Football Update 4/3
Apr. 3, 2012—On March 17th, the Vanderbilt Commodores hit the field to kick off another season of exciting Vanderbilt Football. The ‘Dores made great strides last season under the new leadership of first-year head coach James Franklin. Franklin took a 2 win team from the 2010-2011 campaign and was able to qualify for the Autozone Liberty Bowl...

Mar. 30, 2012—Today started out as just an average Thursday here on campus. I woke up and caught up on some homework, because I don’t have class until 1 on Thursdays. At 12:15, I met my room mate at Commons for lunch. We were in for quite the surprise.
