Weekend at Vandy
Apr. 2, 2012—Luckily, this past weekend was pretty much work-free and I got to enjoy hanging out with friends. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t busy, though, since I’m one of those weirdos who’s only happy when she’s busy.
Internship Abroad
Apr. 2, 2012—This semester, I have had the unique opportunity to do an internship while in France (and get credit for it!). I am working a children’s hospital in Marseille with a philanthropic organization called “Les Blouses Roses,” which dedicates its time to making the stays of children and the elderly more enjoyable while at the hospital....
Café con Leche
Apr. 2, 2012—Café con Leche was a high-energy Latin Dance showcase that I attended last weekend simply to support my roommate, but I was pleasantly surprised by fancy lifts, sparkly costumes, and a giant Mexican skirt that a small person could hide under!
The PREP Program
Apr. 1, 2012—This semester, I have had the opportunity to intern at the Vanderbilt Institute for Global Health through the PREP Program offered by the Office of Active Citizenship and Service.

Mar. 30, 2012—Today started out as just an average Thursday here on campus. I woke up and caught up on some homework, because I don’t have class until 1 on Thursdays. At 12:15, I met my room mate at Commons for lunch. We were in for quite the surprise.

Mar. 29, 2012—It’s that time of year again…Derby Days! Every year, Sigma Chi holds a philanthropic competition between the sororities on campus, donating all the proceeds to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (so far the total is above $36,000!).
