Recycling Around Campus
Nov. 28, 2011—As part of my WilSkillzer duties, I recycled around Vanderbilt’s campus today for Vandy’s Plant Operations. It was raining, and at first I was by myself, but it actually turned into a very efficient happy recycling 2.5 hours.
Making Occluders
Nov. 25, 2011—Last weekend, one of the service organizations with which I’m involved, Vandy 4 Vision, got together with Alpha Phi Omega, the co-ed service fraternity at Vandy to make occluders for Prevent Blindness Tennessee (PBT).
A Dorm-Room Thanksgiving
Nov. 25, 2011—Every year now, my friends have all organized a special Thanksgiving dinner where we all get together and eat. And eat. And eat! Can you tell that there’s always a ton of food?
Let’s Catch Up!
Nov. 24, 2011—The week before Thanksgiving break is always crazy. Now that I’m at home, preparing to feast on some delicious food, and with pleasantly few things to do, let me update you on some of the fun things I did the week before heading home!
Vanderbilt Reunion
Nov. 22, 2011—I could not survive my week at home without a little Vanderbilt reunion. Most of friends from high school don’t get home until later in the week, so yesterday, I decided to spend the day with some of my Vanderbilt friends.
Home Again for Some R and R
Nov. 19, 2011—I woke up this morning in my bed at home in Miami Beach. Thanksgiving is great for Vanderbilt students. Whereas most students have just Thursday and Friday off, we have the entire week. I will be home for nine days, so when I get back to Vanderbilt I will be fully refreshed for finals.
Food, festivities, and free stuff
Nov. 13, 2011—Fridays are marvelous. They’re probably my favorite day of the week because I only have two classes, the first of which isn’t until 11am and because there are always fun things going on. This last Friday was particularly excellent.

Nov. 12, 2011—It’s not every day you get to see an unreleased trailer for an upcoming movie with Robert De Niro, but Thursday happened to be one of those days.
An Atypical Wednesday
Nov. 10, 2011—Wednesday afternoon, I had the opportunity to journey out of the Vandy bubble to volunteer at the Feed the Children warehouse here in Nashville.
Class Outside on a BEAUTIFUL Fall Day
Nov. 8, 2011—Today, the weather was absolutely amazing! The high was right around 70. There was a nice breeze and the sun was shining. I wore a skirt and flip-flops. It was just perfect.
