Let’s Catch Up!

The week before Thanksgiving break is always crazy. Now that I’m at home, preparing to feast on some delicious food, and with pleasantly few things to do, let me update you on some of the fun things I did the week before heading home!

Less than two weeks ago, on the 12th (now it feels like forever ago), Vandy played our final home football game against Kentucky. It was a morning game and the weather was beautiful, so fellow blogger Ashlin and I headed out to cheer our ‘Dores to victory! And quite the victory it was, with our team winning 38 to 8!

That evening, I went ice skating with a bunch of friends at the Centennial Sportsplex. Up until then, I had no clue that there was an ice skating rink so close! The walk was only about 10 minutes, and I was able to rediscover my lack of talent for ice skating which is always a fun experience.

A week ago, I found myself being kidnapped (literally, blindfolded and guided into the backseat of a car) by two of my friends for what was part two of my birthday surprise! My friends took me to see the midnight premiere of Breaking Dawn and celebrate the onset of thanksgiving break!

During my kidnapping.

Needless to say, I love a relaxing week at home. But something about the craziness of Vandy life always makes me excited to go back!
