Slack[lin]ing in the Sun
Sep. 26, 2012—Every once in a while, my friends and I in WilSkills will get together and set up a slackline outside of Rand Dining Center to hang out and eat lunch while inviting people to learn how to slackline and also to attend a WilSkills lecture or trip.
This Week’s Funtivities
Sep. 21, 2012—This week, I decided that every day I would take a small study break and enjoy something uniquely offered at Vanderbilt. I'm going to be honest and say that I thought it would be difficult to find fun things to do every day. Is there really a Vanderbilt sponsored activity that I could enjoy every day? There is! Blair Concert the First
Sep. 17, 2012—I'm not good at estimating, so I'll safely guess between 30 and 8,000 people showed up for Blair's first concert. But actually, Ingram was absolutely packed. Not even when Audra McDonald or the Berlin Philharmonic Wind Quintet came was there an audience such as this. Apparently, people even had to listen to and watch the concert from the lobby telly, it was so full! Success! People finally realizing and taking advantage of the free Blair concerts!
What a Great Weekend
Sep. 3, 2012—I just had such an amazing weekend. There was so much going on, both on and off campus. I tried to partake in as much as possible.
First Football Game
Sep. 1, 2012—Last night, the Commodores kicked off their 2012 football season. Actually, they kicked off the entire SEC season, welcoming the University of South Carolina Gamecocks to the brand new stadium.
Spotlight and VPB Palooza
Aug. 25, 2012—My first Friday night back at school was full of school-sponsored activities. First, my friend and I went to Hillel for the Welcome Back Shabbat Dinner. Then, we went to Spotlight, where we met up with the rest of our friends. The night ended with VPB Palooza.
Student Org. Fair

First Tour of the Year!
Aug. 21, 2012—Being a junior means that I am also a “veteran guide” which sounds awesome and lets me begin giving tours as soon as I get back on campus, which is what I did today!
