The Joy of Visitors!
Apr. 24, 2011—One of my favorite parts of college is having friends and family visit and being able to show them around! This past week, my uncle came to visit and I was able to give him an unofficial tour of Vanderbilt, as well as go to an Indian restaurant I hadn’t tried out yet called Bombay...
Rites of Spring
Apr. 18, 2011—This past weekend was Rites of Spring. “What is Rites of Spring?” you may ask. Only the biggest, funnest (look it up, it’s in the dictionary now) concert held at Vanderbilt each year. It lasts for two days and features multiple artists of different genres.
Last Bash!
Apr. 17, 2011—Last Thursday night, AOII had our Last Bash party to say goodbye to the seniors (I realize I’ve blogged about two of the three parties we’ve had this semester which might give you guys the wrong impression, but I promise we’re about a lot more than that. A Night to Honor Israel
Apr. 14, 2011—Earlier this week I attended an event called “A Night to Honor Israel.” Truthfully, the main reason that I went was to support one of my long time friends, Carver Morgan. On Friday night, I went with some friends to an ice rink in Franklin to play broomball with a group from Rolling Hills Community Church. I had gone last semester, and it was so much fun, so I was...

So Much Sun, So Little Sleep!
Apr. 11, 2011—Ethan has already given you an overview of what Frat Formal season is like but I thought I would throw a girls perspective onto the scene also. I absolutely love spring formals! As a senior I have attended my fair share of formals with fraternities from Vanderbilt and also from Wake Forest. In summary, they...
Holi
Apr. 10, 2011—Holi, also known as the Festival of Colors, is one of the most popular celebrations of the year for people of the Hindu faith. It is considered one of the happiest days of the year and this past Saturday, Vanderbilt’s Masala-SACE student organization hosted their very own Holi event on the lawn in front of...
My Visit(s) to the Vanderbilt ER
Apr. 8, 2011—I’d like to apologize to all of you for being incredibly MIA as of late. I’ve been dealing with a very interesting health situation, resulting in two trips to the Vanderbilt ER. While this is unfortunate news for me, it allows me to share knowledge that I gained with all of you worrisome parents out...
