Concerts, concerts, and more concerts!
Jun. 15, 2013—I don’t know about you, but I absolutely adore concerts! I think there’s something so special about seeing a band you love up-close-and-personal. You can hear their voices without autotune, rock out to their percussion tracks, and just soak up the atmosphere of being pressed up against so many other hardcore fans. This past weekend I had the chance to go to a music festival in Geneva called Caribana. Going there made me realize just how much Nashville has to offer in terms of music, and made me excited for planning this upcoming year of concerts...
Weekend One
Jun. 13, 2013—Victoria and I (as well as some of our friends) have a goal this summer--to do at least one new thing every single weekend this summer.
Back in the Nash
Jun. 12, 2013—After a relaxing month in Naples, I was ready to get back into the swing of something–and that something happens to be Nashville! This is the first summer I’ve gone back to the city, and I’m so excited to share with you all what I’m doing while here! First off, as Caitlyn mentioned, we’re roomies...
And I’m Back!
Jun. 11, 2013—A little over a week ago, I packed my bags, said goodbye to family and friends back home, and boarded a plane in Los Angeles to begin my summer adventure back in Nashville.
Back at Vandy for the Summer
Jun. 4, 2013—Whew. After less than a month, I am back at my lovely home-away-from-home, beautiful and wonderful Nashville.

Country Music City
May. 24, 2013—My name is Priyanka Aribindi, and I am a recovering Nashville junkie. Twenty-four days away from the perpetual sunshine and barbeque-tinged air feels like much too much, but lucky for me, my home away from home and I will be reunited once again in no time at all. While in the grand scheme of life/time/eternity,...

May. 22, 2013—We have been talking a lot about 'why Vanderbilt?', what drew us here, but how about the 'what' at Vanderbilt? For anyone interested in the healthcare field, Peabody student Lynsie Ferrell, recently accepted to the School of Nursing, writes about one of Vanderbilt's 'best kept secrets' and why you should look into it.
Summer Plans
May. 10, 2013—It’s been one week since the summer started and I have made sure to do almost nothing since then. I’ve been happily sitting around my house sleeping, eating and watching movies. It’s been a great relaxing week and there’s plenty more to come during the rest of the summer. However, it’s time to start thinking...
42 Days of Summer
May. 7, 2013—Per usual, I must first apologize for my conspicuously lengthy absence. Truth be told, I was bitter that my “What Will You Be” blog, which I was sure would win me a Pulitzer, wasn’t Tweeted by @VanderbiltU. Now that I’ve had a month to stew on it, and by stew on it I most definitely...
