Holi Moly!
Apr. 18, 2013—When I get stressed about school, I like to take a short study break. So I decided to participate in Holi, the Indian color festival.
Art from the heart…
Apr. 18, 2013—This weekend, with my wonderful fellow pre-nursing society members, I volunteered at Gilda’s Club. Gilda’s Club is a cancer support society that offers families and friends, who have been affected by cancer, a safe haven to build relationships and recieve social support. We helped them set up for their art award ceremony. It was for...
Group Presentations Galore
Apr. 18, 2013—I'm a science major, so I'm used to your average "four tests and a final" grading system. This semester, I was thrown for a bit of a loop when I learned I would have group presentations in three of my four classes.
Why Vanderbilt? Thoughts from a Graduating Senior.
Apr. 17, 2013—As the Class of 2017 will join Vanderbilt in the fall, the Class of 2013 will graduate and begin the next journey of their life. Commodore for a Week
Apr. 17, 2013—*Guest blog by Tina Layton (A.K.A. "Tdog"), best friend from back home and Pho-lover Through the constant stories that Samantha tells me about her Vandy life, I always pictured Vandy as Narnia in my mind. Luckily, I was able to book a plane ticket to Nashville for Spring Break this year, and I got to enter the wardrobe into this fantasyland.

Here are some of the highlights: I went for an 8-mile run through downtown Nashville and around LP field. I stopped in Printer’s Alley and on the pedestrian bridge. I also ran down...
Sips n Strokes Comes to Campus
Apr. 15, 2013—Last Thursday night, I got to attend a free painting class courtesy of VPB. The class was held in The Anchor, which is an open space in New Rand where students can paint banners and make posters. Many materials are provided in the Anchor, but this class was special because VPB brought in Sips n Strokes to teach it.
The Write Stuff
Apr. 15, 2013—Before I admit that this super creative title was actually stolen from the company that made school supply packs for my elementary school, I have to apologize for not getting anything up here in a while. I’ve been SUPER busy with a whole bunch of things, including, but not limited to: doing my Econ homework,...
