Not My Parents’ Last Parents Weekend

Oct. 2, 2013—My parents came to parents weekend my first year at Vanderbilt, but they have not been to parents weekend since. Honestly, parents weekend is more crowded and busy than most, so my parents try and come when things are calmer (and they can hang out with all of my friends). This year, however, they decided to brave the crowds as it was my sister's first parents weekend.

The First VUT Play of the Season

Sep. 26, 2013—Tonight, I attended opening night of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead performed by Vanderbilt University Theater. Sep. 17, 2013—This year, for the first time, I was able to go home for Yom Kippur, which is the holiest day of the Jewish year. I do love Vanderbilt Hillel and the Jewish community on campus, but because the holiday was on Saturday and the Commodores were in South Carolina, I decided to take a quick trip to Miami Beach and see my family.
