A Weekend Away, Wilskills-style
Dec. 4, 2011—Since I’m studying abroad next semester, this weekend was my final hoorah with WilSkills, my number one extracurriculear at Vanderbilt. Being a second semester instructor for the course/club conglomerate, this semester was my first when I’d be allowed to “lead” a trip. The first trip I lead will also correlate to my last WilSkills trip...
The Original Cast Presents Fingerprints
Dec. 3, 2011—All this weekend, the Original Cast is performing their show this semester, Fingerprints. The Original Cast is a revue troupe that takes songs from various musicals and puts them together with their own plot. Recycling Around Campus
Nov. 28, 2011—As part of my WilSkillzer duties, I recycled around Vanderbilt’s campus today for Vandy’s Plant Operations. It was raining, and at first I was by myself, but it actually turned into a very efficient happy recycling 2.5 hours.

What is WilSkills?
Nov. 20, 2011—There is a somewhat hidden course (!) offered at Vanderbilt called Wilderness Skills. You can’t register it; you can’t even find it on YES…it exists in the wild outdoor backcountry of the southeast, only to show up on your transcript at the end of each semester as a reminder of the amazing adventures you’ve been...
Oh, those Blue Ridge Mountains
Nov. 20, 2011—10/10/11: For the past 3 days, I’ve essentially been my own pack mule, hauling my food, shelter, and clothing up and down the Blue Ridge Mountains. And oh! What a great 3 days it was!
Happiness Amidst the Gloominess
Nov. 16, 2011—Rain is a part of the natural process of life. I get that. In fact, I enjoy rain showers from time to time. But let me just say that rainy weather makes me want to curl up in a ball to take a nap and have a lazy day. However, this week certainly does not...
