Dec. 9, 2011—I love the holiday season–despite the fact it means finals are here, it also means that lots of fun things are happening around the Vanderbilt campus and everything is decorated and cheery! Here are a few of my favorite things about Christmastime at Vanderbilt:
Rand’s Holiday Feast
Dec. 8, 2011—Instead of the usual Quiznos for dinner, last night I feasted on lamb, oysters, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. No, I’m not an amazing cook all of sudden, but rather Rand hosted its annual Holiday Celebration from 5-8pm.
Sunday Funday
Dec. 5, 2011—Yesterday was such a great day filled with on-campus activities. Currently counting down to final exam week, I decided that yesterday was going to be a day of fun, friends, and minimal studying (I may pay for that last part later).

Oct. 15, 2011—Each month, VSG hosts a movie night on Alumni Lawn that usually involves cool food. Last night’s theme was eating food out of a truck, because food trucks are actually very popular and esteemed in Nashville.
A Super Stressful Wednesday
Oct. 5, 2011—For some odd reason homework, meetings, more meetings, and class seem to have gotten together to perform a sneak attack on my sanity and sleep schedule today. Looking back though, it was quite a productive 16 hours!
