The Joys of Finals Week
Apr. 27, 2012—Finals week. Insert dramatic sigh here. I am honestly quite sad to see that two whole years–HALF of my undergraduate career–is already over. Preparation for my finals is slowly but surely making itself more prominent in my schedule, but that does not deter me from enjoying what is left of life as a sophomore year!
Undergraduate Research!
Apr. 5, 2012—As a pre-med student I have been hearing (since pretty much day one) that getting involved with research is really helpful in building up your resume for medical school. Coming to Vanderbilt, I knew there would be so many opportunities for getting involved with research–the trick was finding the right one for me!
Slowing down a bit
Feb. 13, 2012—So after a truly memorable weekend with watching our ladies’ basketball team beat the Lady Vols, hosting “ESPN College Gameday“, and putting up an unbelievable fight against UK in the men’s basketball game Saturday night–all on little to no sleep–a lazy Sunday was much needed.
Reunited with the Commons
Jan. 11, 2012—Day 3 of classes is going so well so far! Despite the early start to every day (8am yaaaaay) I’m very excited about all of my classes this semester.
Leading up to Semester 4…
Jan. 7, 2012—Wow wow wow I did not know 2.5 weeks could go by so quickly! My winter break has been a wonderful mix of restfulness and keeping busy with different events! Get ready for a long post of catching you up on the past few weeks of life!
The end is near.
Dec. 8, 2011—Today is officially my last day of classes. Do you know what that means? Finals are literally right around the corner. AHHHHHH!
Final Friday of Classes!
Dec. 2, 2011—I know I’ve been mentioning how I can’t believe how quickly this semester has gone by for the past few posts. You’d think that I’d be used to it by now, but no such luck. Within a mere week, my third semester at Vanderbilt will officially be over! Ahh. Still can’t get over that.
