Meghan Leong ’20

Hi everyone!

My name is Meghan, and I’m from Fremont, California, which about an hour away from San Francisco (on a good day). I am a senior majoring in Cello Performance at the Blair School of Music and minoring in French.

On campus, I am involved in the Asian American Student Association (AASA), Vanderbilt University Orchestra, Vanderbilt Music Outreach, Vanderbilt Chinese Undergraduate Association, and the Vanderbilt Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) chapter. I also regularly perform for donor events and at nearby nursing homes, collaborate with Blair faculty and local artists, and was recently appointed a substitute cellist in the Nashville Symphony. In my free time, I love cooking and eating out with friends (I’m a huge foodie and boba addict), listening to music (currently obsessed with Young the Giant, Seventeen, Troye Sivan, and Eric Nam), dancing, and attending performing arts events in downtown Nashville. Feel free to email me at meghan.leong@vanderbilt.edu if you have any questions about Vanderbilt, college life, food, or if you just want to chat!
