Christmas Time Fun

More holiday party fun! I’ve mentioned before that I work at MacAuthority, which is a privately-owned Apple authorized retailer and service provider. I work as a sales representative here at the West End location by our bookstore during the semester and at home during the summer. I love what I do, who I work with, and customers we get to talk to, and it’s been a learning adventure in so many ways! You master the art of multitasking, charming your way through stressful situations, and storing mass amounts of information about the products to share when the situation calls for it.

Last night, the president of the company invited us all over to his home for the annual Christmas party! I’m pretty sure I was the youngest attendee there, but the dynamic of administrative personnel and other store employees there was really fun! The food was delicious, so naturally I ate more that I should have. It was great to meet some more members of the company and nice to see some of my co-workers outside of work!

I felt like I was in real, grown-up world at this holiday work party, though. It was cool and weird at the same time. It was almost a reality check that ‘work’ events may be a reality for me soon. (You know. As I enter the work force and be a part of the real world.) I say almost because then I realized my finals beckoned for my attention.
