A Visit From My Parents
Feb. 15, 2012—This weekend, in addition to all of the Gameday madness, I was lucky enough to spend time with my parents! My parents flew in from Miami on Saturday morning and stayed until Monday evening.
Slowing down a bit
Feb. 13, 2012—So after a truly memorable weekend with watching our ladies’ basketball team beat the Lady Vols, hosting “ESPN College Gameday“, and putting up an unbelievable fight against UK in the men’s basketball game Saturday night–all on little to no sleep–a lazy Sunday was much needed.
Weekend Home
Feb. 13, 2012—I’ve already been up 5 hours and the day is young. No, I wasn’t cramming for a test or finishing up a paper, but rather driving 3 hours back from Knoxville. This past weekend, I went home and got to sleep in my own bed!
ESPN Gameday Parts 2 and 3
Feb. 12, 2012—I was so exhausted between Gameday and the Vanderbilt-UK basketball game, that I didn’t have time to blog. I will give you a recap of my crazy Gameday experience:
Giving Blood
Feb. 10, 2012—Howdy, Internet! After my streak of critically acclaimed, New York Times bestseller blogs, I found myself devoid of the creativity, the drive, the spark that usually inspires me to such heights of blogging genius. As your unofficial sports blogger, I hope that you know me better than to think that I would miss...

For example, people in industrial cities tend to talk about pollution and green spaces as taking away from or improving, respectively, their quality of life whereas...
Published? As an Undergraduate?
Feb. 6, 2012—There are many opportunities for Vanderbilt undergraduates in terms of being ‘published.’ Authoring or co-authoring an academic work can help enhance a graduate school or job application or even just be a cool random fact. At Vanderbilt, we have the opportunity to be published by simply completing the mandatory course work.
New Semester Resolutions
Feb. 6, 2012—Each new semester in college is like a new year…sure you might be taking the second semester of a course (i.e. General Chemistry A vs. General Chemistry B), but it’s still a new class with a new teacher and a lot of new faces, give or take some familiar ones. It’s important to treat each...
Practice MCAT
Feb. 5, 2012—Yesterday morning, instead of finally catching up on my sleep, I woke up at 8 am to take the MCAT. Not the real thing, thank god, but a practice test administered by Kaplan.
