The Joy of Visitors!
One of my favorite parts of college is having friends and family visit and being able to show them around! This past week, my uncle came to visit and I was able to give him an unofficial tour of Vanderbilt, as well as go to an Indian restaurant I hadn’t tried out yet called Bombay Palace.
Later in the week, I sat down with a friend from high school and his parents and got to do one of my favorite things—talk about why Vanderbilt is such an awesome school (you can see why I’m a blogger)! Another friend had lunch with me today, and I also got to show him around campus. Thankfully, springtime in Nashville has been beautiful as Erica mentioned, so that made showing off our campus even easier.
Vanderbilt really peaks in the amount of people checking out campus around this time of year. There are a variety of events such as open houses, Black and Gold days, and ‘Dore for a Day that let prospective students get an awesome idea of what Vanderbilt is like. It’s always exciting to see prospective students touring campus—and who knows, maybe some of them will be future Inside ‘Dores bloggers!
