Last Weekend of Relaxation

Dec. 5, 2011—A real cool feature of Vanderbilt’s that is becoming more popular across the nation is the climbing wall available at the Student Recreation Center that is available to all members of the Rec Center (that means students!) for FREE when the wall is open.

Dec. 4, 2011—Since I’m studying abroad next semester, this weekend was my final hoorah with WilSkills, my number one extracurriculear at Vanderbilt. Being a second semester instructor for the course/club conglomerate, this semester was my first when I’d be allowed to “lead” a trip. AOII Winter Semiformal
Dec. 4, 2011—Last night was AOII’s third party of the semester, winter semiformal. Our venues are always a surprise because we meet at the house and ride together, so when the bus pulled up to the Country Music Hall of Fame, everyone was pretty excited. But I’m getting ahead of myself—
Final Friday of Classes!
Dec. 2, 2011—I know I’ve been mentioning how I can’t believe how quickly this semester has gone by for the past few posts. You’d think that I’d be used to it by now, but no such luck. Within a mere week, my third semester at Vanderbilt will officially be over! Ahh. Still can’t get over that.

Nov. 26, 2011—On November 5 this year, Vanderbilt’s South Asian Cultural Exchange group Masala-SACE put on their annual Diwali performance.
Habitat for Humanity: Commodore Trot 5k
Nov. 26, 2011—Vanderbilt’s Habitat for Humanity chapter annually hosts a 5k (3.1 miles) run/walk fundraiser called the Commodore Trot. All proceeds from the race go to benefit the chapter’s build fund, which will be used to sponsor a Habitat house under Vanderbilt’s name.
Adventure Science Center: U2 Laser Show!
Nov. 26, 2011—The different residence halls around campus sponsor various events for their residents. This semester, I am living on Highland Quad in Lewis House. We get emails every once in a while advertising free food, free massages, free places to go, etc…FREE stuff!
