Student Nights at Climb Nashville

Climb Nashville is a local climbing gym located about 2 miles from campus. It is a fun place to go hang out with friends, experience something new, and potentially find a new hobby! I started off, as many did, climbing during Student Nights at Climb Nashville…and now here I am, as many are, addicted to climbing.

Student Night flier for Climb Nashville

Student Night occurs every Monday and Saturday evenings from 7-10pm. The idea being that on these nights, people with valid student IDs (from anywhere!) can purchase a day pass and gear for a super low price! (Only $12, and trust me, this is a GOOD price.)

Even though I now have a membership at the gym, I still often go on Student Nights because of how many of my friends I see those nights. The gym gets crowded, but the atmosphere is light and friendly as per usual. The Student Nights are a great way to try out climbing with no real monetary commitment (aka a monthly fee) and I know plenty of students who go on a weekly basis to hang out and  do fun-is-it-even-really-exercise? exercise! Recently, Alpha Phi Omega — the service fraternity — held a lock-in for its members to engage in team-building and trust activities.

Climb Nashville is a great local business. They’ve even expanded their student-friendly deals. This semester is the first (of many, hopefully!) where a 3-month —  a semester long membership with a long enough lag time for you to try climbing out at Student Nights first — membership for the price of 2 months of membership!

Climbing is definitely a great way to hang out and strengthen friendships (your lives are in each others’ hands), and it’s ridiculously fun to boot!
