Panhellenic Preview Day, Take Two
Nov. 7, 2011—Almost one year ago, I blogged about Panhellenic Preview Day, since I was interested in joining a sorority. This past Saturday was Panhellenic Preview Day again, but this time I was on the other side, talking mostly to freshman girls planning on going through recruitment in the spring.
Now It’s November!
Nov. 3, 2011—November is here, and I can’t believe it. The weather is slowly but surely getting chillier, and the leaves are starting to fall from the trees, and class registration for next semester is here!
Bring On the Fall
Nov. 2, 2011—So, there are two things that I know I’m not: 1) A morning person and 2) a fan of cold weather. Today, I faced my fears.
Best Ice Cream Ever
Oct. 30, 2011—“You’ve never been to Jeni’s?! What is wrong with you?” This is how I started my Friday night. When my friend Stephanie found out that I had never been to her favorite ice cream place before, she demanded that I get in her car immediately so we could fix this problem.
Predators, Concerts, and Majors. Oh my!
Oct. 20, 2011—There are lots of things to catch up on! On Thursday evening, after my swarm of midterms were finally done, I went with my friend Rachel-Chloe to the opening game of the Nashville Predators vs. the Phoenix Coyotes at Bridgestone Arena, courtesy of A.I.Ch.E– the Chemical Engineering Society here at Vanderbilt!
Full Moon Pickin’ Party
Oct. 16, 2011—This past Friday night, in celebration of the last full moon before Daylight Savings, I went to a Full Moon Pickin’ Party and dinner at The Loveless Cafe. The event is at the Equestrian Barn, which is part of the Warner Park system.
Dinner and a Movie
Oct. 15, 2011—Each month, VSG hosts a movie night on Alumni Lawn that usually involves cool food. Last night’s theme was eating food out of a truck, because food trucks are actually very popular and esteemed in Nashville.
