Monica Liu ’21

Hey y’all!

My name is Monica Liu, and I’m from Short Hills, NJ. I’m a sophomore double majoring in Human and Organizational Development (HOD) and English, and minoring in Computer Science. I’m here to share some insight about life at Vandy and hopefully I can help you make your college decision a little bit easier!

On campus, I’m involved in Alpha Phi Omega, the co-ed service fraternity, AASA, the Asian-American Student Association, Vanderbilt Finance Club, and Greek Life.

In my free time, I love exploring new restaurants in Nashville and going to concerts of all my favorite musicians. Vanderbilt also brings tons of great performers to campus for various events throughout the year, and it’s been amazing to have the opportunity to see famous singers for such low ticket prices. In my less than two years here, I’ve seen Migos, Portugal the Man, Cheat Codes, Kiiara, and Diplo!

If you have any questions about Vanderbilt, Nashville, academics, extracurriculars or anything else, please don’t hesitate to shoot me an email at monica.liu@vanderbilt.edu. I would love to hear from you!
