Mitali Kumar ’23

Hello world!

My name is Mitali, and I am from a quaint little town called Yakima, Washington! However, I was born in New Rochelle, New York and have also lived in Waycross, Georgia; McAllen, Texas; Harlingen, Texas; Galveston, Texas; and Dallas, Texas. Boy, did I get a load of hot Texas heat before my family and I decided we had to migrate north! 

I am a freshman here at Vanderbilt’s College of Arts and Science, studying Neuroscience and Asian Studies on the pre-med track. Some of my on-campus extracurricular involvements include 

Lakshya (Bollywood Fusion Dance Team), Medlife (currently planning for a spring mission trip to Peru), and Design for America. On the weekends, I can be spotted gobbling down milkshakes from Legendairy Milkshake Bar or trying to knock-off things from my endless Nashville bucket list.
