Freedom
This post comes to you from a free-from-finals Vanderbilt student. Sadly that also means that I’m a senior now…but I’ll take it!
I cannot believe that my third year here at Vandy is over!! It has been so amazing–easily the best year yet. And what’s awesome is that I KNOW next year will somehow manage to top the charts in awesomeness. THAT, I’m excited for. The whole graduating/not being a Vandy undergrad soon is a bit daunting.
In order to celebrate my new found freedom, a few of my friends and I are headed to the Frist to check out the Rembrandt exhibit! Afterwards, we are going to grab dinner and then return back to campus to begin the fiasco that is packing. After a few hours of probable packing procrastination, I head to the premiere of Iron Man 3!!! I am a little confused since it’s a 10:30pm showing instead of a midnight showing, but oh well!! A night of Nashville activities with some of my favorites from Vandy is the perfect way to cap off a wonderful third year :)
I will obviously miss Vandy life a lot over the summer, but my summer will be filled with family, food, friends, and medical school apps! I’ll be heading to visit some family up in the northeast tomorrow and probably just stay up there for the month before I head home to Chattanooga and spend the remainder of the summer there, unless spontaneous trips occur. And with my life, that’s usually what happens :) Stay tuned!
Later, junior year. It’s been real.
