Caitlyn’s Catch-Ups
Please allow me to present to you Caitlyn’s Catch-Ups, a series of blogs similar to (and possibly inspired by), but not affiliated in any way with the Catch Up with Nathan and Victoria series.
Similar to many of my fellow bloggers, the end of the semester has zoomed by, and it’s nearly time for me to go home for winter break and I am so behind on my blogging! While I may not live the most adventurous of lives, boy, do I have some stories for you! I’ll begin with a little teaser of posts that are soon to come…
Nationals: The Vanderbilt Women’s Club Soccer team headed to Memphis for Nationals right before Thanksgiving. You can read the first half of the post here! (Spoiler alert: we didn’t win. Sad face. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t read my upcoming post about it!)
A Sonic Adventure: I don’t want to give too much away and spoil the surprise, but it involved a thrift store, a dead car battery, and a can of Coke.
Birthday Terror: This doesn’t refer to my own birthday–for her birthday, my friend Alice wanted “the pants scared off of her” (Quote from a text received from Ashlin.) Fortunately, her birthday coincides with Halloween season, and there were a plethora of haunted houses to choose from.
Tacos and Gluten-Free Baking: My little sister in my sorority is gluten-free, requiring dinner ideas to be slightly more difficult–but we made it work!
Finals Frenzy: If you could even call it that. I’ll tell you all about my absurdly fortunate finals schedule, study spots, and my last week of the semester in general.
Bye Bye Wisdom Teeth: While this one hasn’t actually happened yet, I will be getting my wisdom teeth taken out on Friday, and one can only imagine the stories I will have for you of the first few days of my winter break. (P.S.– I’m terrified. Encouragement is welcome.)
Stay tuned for the first installment!
