Sophomore Spring in Review
May. 8, 2012—I have been home for just about four days. It has taken me this long to unpack and decompress from a whirlwind semester. Here is a recap of my Sophomore Spring:
The VIEW Program
May. 4, 2012—I had my last final exam yesterday and am officially a senior! Whoa! When did that happen? Luckily, I have the whole summer ahead of me before I have to start worrying about everything that senior year entails. Starting in June, I am very excited to be participating in the Vanderbilt Internship Experience in Washington...
A Summer Abroad! (Again?!)
May. 4, 2012—The year is slowly coming to a close, friends are saying good byes for the summer (or if graduating, moving on to the next step of their lives!), and people are soon to begin whatever crazy (or not so crazy) plans they have acquired for the summer. In my case, it’s crazy, because I apparently...
1/4 Done? Preposterous.
May. 3, 2012—Here is an end-of-the-year ramble. Enjoy this peek into my scrambled brain.

May. 3, 2012—A short re-cap of our parents short visit to Nashville this past weekend. We are going to be home in a few days, but our parents came into town so our mom could run the Country Music Marathon.

May. 3, 2012—The rooms are empty. The car is packed. The 2011-2012 school year officially ends today. It’s a bittersweet feeling. Though finals are always a hectic end to each semester, I can’t help but feel I am leaving part of my family behind as I venture to my actual home in Georgia. The quiet five hour...
Is This Freedom? Idle Times in Nashville
May. 3, 2012—Finals Week 2012 has been both a blessing and a curse. I lucked out only having two finals this time around, but I had six days of nothing (I mean, six days to study) between my exams! Before hitting the books once again, I took some time to enjoy a few days with my fellow Commodores...
Running Your Problems Away
May. 3, 2012—Last Saturday (April 28th), I ran my first half-marathon! Nashville is home to the Rock n Roll Nashville Marathon (which benefits St. Jude’s) each spring, and a small group of ROTC cadets, myself included, volunteered to run on behalf of the department.
Leaving for Home
May. 3, 2012—With the last few days approaching, I start the dreadful job of packing…
