Oh, those Blue Ridge Mountains
Nov. 20, 2011—10/10/11: For the past 3 days, I’ve essentially been my own pack mule, hauling my food, shelter, and clothing up and down the Blue Ridge Mountains. And oh! What a great 3 days it was!
Fall weather
Nov. 4, 2011—As the North East was slammed with snow this past week, Nashville has enjoyed a particularly beautiful Fall, complete with seventy degree days and breathtaking color changes. One of the best ways to enjoy this perk is to enjoy one of the many outside study spots on campus. Here are a few of my favorites.
Me vs. Nature
Oct. 20, 2011—Let me just start off by saying that I love nature. Really, I do. I love that Vanderbilt is a national arboretum, I respect the freedom of the squirrels at Vanderbilt to leap out of trashcans if they so desire, and I do not in any way enjoy harming small birds. NOT AT ALL.
