Mingyang Yuan ’24

Hi guys!

My name is Mingyang Yuan, and I’m from Pittsburgh, PA, even though I’ve lived most of my life in Houston, TX. I’m currently a sophomore majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Medicine, Health, and Society on the pre-med track. 

Outside of class, I’m also involved in Next Steps, Asian American Student Association (AASA), and Inside ‘Dores, of course. I’ve also done research in the Vanderbilt Department of Bioinformatics and the Brain Development Lab, some experiences I’ve really enjoyed. In my free time, I love exploring aesthetic coffee shops and dessert places in Nashville, taking stress naps in my room, and going to cheap (but amazing!) concerts with friends.
