Physics Phun (Sorry, I had to do it)
I’ve been meaning to blog for the last week or so, but I’ve been so busy that I kept forgetting. I know you’re wondering why I’m so busy, so let me tell you about my summer plans:
- Physics- I’m currently at UNC in Chapel Hill, NC taking Physics I now (and II later in the summer) to fulfill my pre-med requirement. It’s a lot of material to learn everyday but I’ll be done with classes by July 27th, so it’s definitely worth it.
- MCAT- Like Erica, I’m taking the MCAT this summer, except not until late August. I’m usually pretty good about time management and making myself study, so I’ve been practicing with the Princeton Review books on my own. It’s been a pleasant surprise to flip to random chapters and know what’s going on, especially with Organic Chemistry (which somehow became my favorite subject last semester, all thanks to Dr. Sulikowski).
- Shadowing- I’m not quite sure of the details yet, but I’ll be shadowing different specialties at UNC Hospital later this summer!
- Preparing for London– I’m flying to London around September 10th for the semester and I could not be more excited! Okay, so I’ll be a little more excited after the MCAT, but I still have so many fun preparations. I need to decide which classes to take, what I’m going to pack, and should probably memorize a general map of London…
Now that I’ve been in class for a week (and have my first test Friday!), I’m starting to develop a routine and can hopefully blog more and update everyone on my summer adventures! Cause science is fun, y’all.
