Intern Life- Doing the Job
So once I secured my super fantastic internship at redpepper, what was next? Well, dear reader, don’t worry–I’m here to share just what I did with my time at rp.
I’ve heard horror stories where internships consist of making coffee and doing other such mundane tasks, and I was so glad that’s not what happened at redpepper. First off, the company is rather small–about 30 people, and this year’s intern class was their largest ever at a whopping 11 of us. On my very first day, I got to help with setting up for a huge pitch redpepper was about to do–a super exciting event.
From there, my responsibilities and experiences grew! Here’s a snapshot of what I worked on in my time at redpepper:
-Planning social content
–Blogging (because we all know I don’t blog enough)
-Writing press releases (one of which was blogged about and then that blog was tweeted by another company…perhaps the highlight of my budding career)
-Working on my intern project
-and more!
I could write pages and pages on my time at redpepper and that still wouldn’t cover everything I did and learned in my time there. Stay tuned for another post summing up my learnings at redpepper–and find all of my intern life posts right here!
