First Years: Apply for Inside ‘Dores!
I was tipped off about Inside ‘Dores halfway through my freshman year at Vanderbilt. A friend of mine who wrote for the blog at the time said the Admissions office was looking for people to write about their experiences at school. Sure, thought I, people would love to read about my life! Whether or not that opinion was a reflection of the truth remains to be seen, but I’ve had a blast working my way up from lowly first-year peon (I wrote about doodling back in those days) to an esteemed member of the Inside ‘Dores Exec Board.
I’m telling you how much fun I have with this job because today begins the spring application period for Inside ‘Dores!
If you’ve ever read Inside ‘Dores and think blogging for Admissions is something you’d be interested in, simply follow this link: ***Application*** . Applications have been closed. Thanks for your interest!
Applications are due by 4:00 pm on January 25th, but I’d suggest getting it done early before classes really get underway.
Due to the way our staff is structured right now, we’ll only be accepting applications from first-years, so if you’re an interested sophomore or junior, stick around until the fall – we’d love to have you.
If you have any questions about writing for Inside ‘Dores, the application process, or, of course, just about Vanderbilt/student life, feel free to email me at nathan.e.hall@vanderbilt.edu, or get in touch with the other members of the exec board: Eileen, Victoria, Erica, and Ryan!
