NINE

Posted by on Saturday, January 22, 2011 in Blair School of Music, College Life, General Information, Music.

Keepin’ it short and sweet here. I went to see Vanderbilt Off Broadway’s (VOB) production of NINE: The Musical tonight at Blair (after journeying to the wrong part of campus… One could logically assume a musical would be in the “theater.”), and it was phenomenal. There were parts where a few singers were pitchy, or the mix had one actor/actress coming through a little stronger than was necessary, but the overall production made me laugh, cry (EVEN MEN CAN CRY!), and think, so it counts as a success in my book. That being said, my book is a blog on the admissions website, so it doesn’t have much in the way of critical heft… yet.

Thank you for a great show, VOB, and I hope all your future productions are just as excellent.
