Leaving for Home
With the last few days approaching, I start the dreadful job of packing…Freshmen Year is over and I just want to go home and sleep for the next 3 months. I have lost so much sleep over the past 9 months that I ought to just go to my room and hibernate during the Summer. Unfortunately, one thing stands in the way: packing.
Luckily for me, since I live in Nashville, I do not really have to worry that much about boxes and storage since I can jump dump everything into the car and drive home. However, packing is still a hassle because I’m going to have to put everything into a box and then when I get home, take everything back out. I wish I could just get a tarp and put everything into it, throw it into the car and drive home. That would be so much easier…
You would think, that packing is the worse thing left to do. But, I also need to clean and that is not going to be an easy job. My room is quite the mess and currently it smells like something is dying in here. Good thing I’m moving out tonight!
I am sad that I must leave Vanderbilt, Crawford and all my friends, but really excited that I get to sleep in my own bed and just relax for the next few months. I am taking part in a Summer Research project though at Vanderbilt Hospital and I’ll be sure to blog about that during the summer. I’m working in a lab and it has something to do with epilepsy and mice.
Anyways, this is my farewell post for this semester. I enjoyed talking about my Vanderbilt life this year and next semester I’m looking to blog more often. I hope you all enjoy your summer and get ready to move into Vanderbilt.
