Panhellenic Preview Day, Take Two
Almost one year ago, I blogged about Panhellenic Preview Day, since I was interested in joining a sorority. This past Saturday was Panhellenic Preview Day again, but this time I was on the other side, talking mostly to freshman girls planning on going through recruitment in the spring.
Each girl visited the sororities on campus for 15 minutes and usually talked to two or three sisters to get a feel for the house. There were 14 rounds total, so you can imagine how much talking I did (which I guess wasn’t really that much more than usual haha). It was so cool to hear what all the freshmen are involved in this year—I think I talked to one girl who is majoring in Econ and History and minoring in Chinese…I was a little blown away. Also, another girl from Atlanta had run into Justin Bieber at her favorite restaurant one day so we talked about celebrity sightings in Nashville (which have been nonexistent for me so far).
Even though I was exhausted by the end of the day, I once again met some awesome girls I’d be proud to call my sisters, and can’t wait until formal recruitment starts on January 7th!
